SPRING PLANT SALE NEWS

The Spring Plant Sale is coming - Saturday, March 3, 9:00am - 2:00pm.
We have preliminary plant lists for tomatoes, peppers, eggplant, tomatillos, and herbs, See the attached files.

CALLING ALL GARDENERS

Volunteer are needed to help with the plant sale. Sign up sheets are in the office. This is an opportunity to work off service hours before the summer heat arrives, and plant sale volunteers can purchase plants the day before the sale, late Friday afternoon, March 2.

Please start to collect boxes to be used by our customers to carry their plants. You may put them in the trailer.

Income from your membership dues and unworked service hours in 2011 totaled $18K and barely covered water and utilities expenses of $17.5K. All other expenses for the year, $16K, were covered through profits from the Spring Plant Sale.
So we encourage all to come, purchase plants and spread the word to co-workers, neighbors, and friends, to come Saturday, March 3rd to support our main fund raiser.

ALL GARDENERS MEETING - FEBRUARY 11, 1:00 PM

The next All Gardeners Meeting will be February 11 at 1:00pm.
It will be a Valentine's Day sweets and treats potluck, so bring your favorite cakes, cookies, or whatever you would like to share.
New Sunshine Garden T-shirts will be available, $10 each for garden members.
Main agenda item: the SPRING PLANT SALE.
