Please see the lovely design below by Juliet at Good Juju Design. Juliet is a gardener and was kind enough to design a new postcard for us.
We have postcards and posters about the plant sale available for you to give your friends, neighbors and post in friendly businesses. They are in the trailer on the tables. If you need more, ask a board member. They can get you more.

Sunshine Garden's Annual Plant Sale - Saturday - March 2, 2019
Here are some ways to help out with the Plant Sale recommended by Randy and Janet:
- Spread the word about sale itself.
- Come to work days as we prepare.
- Sign up for specific tasks once Sign Up Genius is posted.
- Get passalongs ready for the sale.
- Checkout the plant list when posted.
- Spread the word about the sale itself.
The Annual Plant Sale is a great way to get in some of your Volunteer Hours for 2019.
Silent Auction for Plant Sale - Headed by Mary Drake
This is your fellow gardener, Mary Drake, who has volunteered to be in charge of the silent auction for this year"s plant sale. I will be asking Austin area businesses and organizations to donate items and services for the silent auction. If you have items, services to donate or time to help with the auction please let me know. Please send me leads on businesses or organizations that would be willing to donate.

Get Free Organic Seeds, Cash Prizes From Tasty Bite
Compost for the Spring Garden
Time for the spring compost buy.
Turkey compost arrives next week.
Starting Wednesday morning you can get compost for $1/bucket.
Limit 20 buckets for a full size plot.
This is on the honor system. The cash box will be in the green and white greenhouse also known as the Gardenport.
Please keep the pile covered given the forecast.
This compost is a service. Please remember to pay.

Plant Sale Is In 5 Weeks!!!!
The Signup Genius will soon be out so you can pick which job you want for the plant sale on March 2. Lots to do before that though.
One of the fun things we do at the plant sale is eat. Kathleen, who for years provided us all with a great breakfast and kept the coffee flowing, has left the garden. Although it would be difficult to replace her level of organization, we need to try.
So...looking for someone or lots of someones to organize food. This year we'll have a sign up for people who want to bring a dish or find a business who wants to donate food. And also a few people willing to spend their volunteer time keeping track of that food and making the coffee.
So please look for the email announcing the sign up being available.
