Calling all Gardeners - Annual Plant Sale
Sunshine Community Gardens
March 5th
9:00 am - 2:00 pm
This is our most important fund raiser and requires many gardeners to swing into action to help with all of the preparations and activities during and after the plant sale. Most of the volunteer activities are during the plant sale (9-2), but there are before and after tasks also. Your volunteer time will fulfill service hours. It is up to you to record your hours in the online green binder. No cars will be allowed in Sunshine after 4 o'clock on Friday until Sunday 3/6.
Pre sale Activities
Workday this Sunday
Spruce up Sunshine Gardens for the Plant Sale
Sunday - Feb 28th, 1:30 pm
Sunshine expects several thousand visitors at the Plant Sale, Saturday, March 5. To be sure Sunshine looks its best, there will be a workday Sunday, February 28, starting at 1:30. Tasks will include mowing, cleaning up around the trailer/greenhouses, and weeding TSBVI Garden. Many of the tasks will count toward TSBVI service hours so the workday will be a great time for gardeners to get in their TSBVI service hour for the spring season.
Pass-along Plant Prep
We will be grooming, tagging and pricing the pass-along plants this Saturday.
