Thanks to everyone who helped work on the new Sunshine Community flower and herb gardens on Sunday. Special thanks to the McCallum High School Key Club Members who helped clearing for the new gardens.

New Butterfly Garden - Josh Walters created a new butterfly garden on the right side of the path as you walk into the garden. Thanks Josh!

New Herb Garden - A community herb garden is being establish just to the west of the butterfly garden under the guidance of Jen Woertz. Thanks Jen!

If maintaining the Sunshine gardens is something you would enjoy doing to satisfy your TSBVI service hour requirement or to contribute to the beauty of Sunshine contact ila.falvey@gmail.com. The gardens near the office trailer and on the street need attention.

Austin Organic Gardeners Meeting

Monday April 11th, 6:30pm
Zilker Botanical Garden Center - 2220 Barton Springs Road

Agenda: Doors open at 6:30 for visiting and getting your gardening questions answered by our answer desk (look for the sign and the guys in big hats at the back of the room). Announcements and club business start at 7 followed by our program at 7:30.

Member Presentation: Earl Hall will discuss using an inexpensive, portable vacuum for insects in his garden.
