Happy New Year to All
I have been trying for the past several years to encourage gardeners to adopt a garden task(s) that they are willing to do on a continuing basis. My attempts are minimally successful as evidenced by the large turnout of gardeners who waited until the end of the service hour period to swing into action. This presented a problem as there was little left to do and what was done in several instances destroyed plants. Gardeners have an opportunity to partake in official workdays through the year. Very few gardeners attend these scheduled workdays.
If there is a garden task that you want to do, please let me know. The task can be from the list in the attached file, Repetitive Garden Tasks, or anything that you think needs doing (please check with me first). I think if you ask yourself how can my activity benefit the garden, rather than I need service hours--what do I have to do, Sunshine would shine more brightly.
Happy Gardening
