Sunshine's Annual Plant Sale is Saturday, March 1, 2025 from 9am to 2pm at 4814 Sunshine Dr.
It's Spring and time to plan your organic veggie garden!
On Saturday, March 1st Sunshine Community Gardens - Austin's urban oasis where organic food and flowers have flourished since 1974 - will host its Annual Plant Sale.
Gates open at 9am with a musical parade.
Learn from knowledgeable gardeners while you choose from 87 varieties of tomatoes, 72 varieties of peppers (40 hot, 32 sweet), 19 varieties of eggplant, 6 varieties of tomatillos, and 7,000 herbs. In addition to the over 24,000 vegetable and herb plants for sale, there will be native flowers, pass along plants, succulents, and silent auction items.
Explore booths of local vendors, walk through our flower gardens, or teach your child to pull a fresh carrot from the ground.
Organic compost will also be available.
Join us at 4814 Sunshine Drive from 9am to 2pm on March 1st.
Varieties will be posted soon so you can start making plans for your spring garden.
Volunteers are needed leading up to and on the day of the sale. A volunteer sign-up will be posted by February 1st, 2025.
