Flowers of Sunshine Gardens - Part 1
A Message from the Board President
All Gardener Meeting - Saturday 5/15/21 at 10:00 AM
No ZOOM - TACOS PROVIDED- Bring Your Own Coffee (BYOC)
Hi Gardeners!
The annual All Gardener Meeting and Election will be this Saturday, May 15 at 10:00 am. This will be a COVID safe event following CDC guidelines with distance and masks worn when we are all in proximity to each other. Zoom will not be available- it is just not technically feasible for us.
Gardeners will be voting on president, vice-president, treasurer and nominating committee with voting for the three officers remaining open for five days following the meeting. Gardeners will also vote on changes to the site rules. These are largely non- substantive in nature. They update language and clarify what the board can do in order to make things easier to accomplish for the organization. Check the website for details.
The president and treasurer will be reviewing what Sunshine has accomplished over the past year and its finances. The board will also review the guidelines it has adopted clarifying how to handle specific materials; whether to recycle, take to compost area, or dispose in dumpster.
Thank you for your participation in our community! Join me, the board and your fellow gardeners on Saturday, May 15. Again, FREE TACOS.
Sincerely,
Steve Uecker, President
